You probably aren't getting more than 3-4 skills with redraft kicking around.īlock then take tackle in an agility heavy league or guard otherwise. Now that you're super scary your third skill and beyond will just increase your reliability in landing those hits by taking block/tackle. The third skill and beyond would probably be stuff like extra arms and two heads for greater ball pick-up chances and maneuverability.Īnyone who has experienced BB2 knows these types of beastmen were built and now it's actually more viable since you start with Juggs. Sure hands first may be better if you don't think you're getting that third re-roll anytime soon and since you start with Juggs block isn't as good first as it would be on, say, a beastman. Block and sure hands are your first two skills. I would take block next for defense and a little more hitting power (wrestle isn't needed since you already have juggs) and the third skill would likely be two heads to give that Khornigor an even greater presence. You now have a 97% chance (99% with a re-roll) of knocking the ball out of a ball carrier's hands on a clean two-dice as long as they don't have sure hands. Since you have Horns and Juggs, take stripball first for hilarity. The stars of your team that will be built like swiss army knives: They probably die before a second skill, but you'd likely take something like tackle or fend depending on the league. You take block so that they actually become a good player instead of a liability. If you're able to protect it and you get a CAS or two during the drive - well, it just about paid for its high cost already. On the flip side the Bloodspawn can be a win condition by itself against certain teams you would've had no chance against otherwise.ĭwarf, Lizards, Orcs - several starting teams would be scared seeing a Bloodspawn across from them. Fewer positionals also raises the risk of MVP hitting a bad target. Talking about this roster on a more serious note, your ball handling will be noticeably worse and will feel closer to your Nurgle cousins with only two Khornigors. The question for you is do you want your opponent's to FEAR you? What inspires greater fear in a dwarf than seeing your first opponent in a league has a Bloodspawn with Claw and Mighty Blow? But come on you're playing Khorne - why do you care about being safe?Īn experienced Bloodbowl coach would try to tell you that it's foolish starting with less reliable players, less positionals, and only two re-rolls in order to get your team's big guy. The other roster that's similar to this doesn't deserve it's own section, but you could cut one bloodseeker and get an extra re-roll just to start with a completely safe league roster. This build also only has 3 linemen - which will likely have the sole job of taking a punch on the LOS and then spending every subsequent turn standing up and getting punched again until they are removed. You want the Bloodseekers really early on because they're going to carry your team as soon as you get block, and you want all 4 Khornigors as your reliable blitzers/ball carriers. In my opinion you can't get much better than this simple set-up for a league setting. Thank god the Rerolls were 60k and let this roster happen. Your linemen are also arguably the worst in the game having a skill that can easily be a huge downside combined with low armor. In my opinion a good Khorne build is going to take all your Bloodseekers - because you really want them hitting block ASAP - and your Khornigors as they are your most reliable players. Now that we know everything about Khorne (especially the nice surprise of 60k rerolls) we can freely theorycraft some builds.
